Ingredients


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed

  • ½ cup melted butter or oil

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

  3. In another bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined. Do not overmix!

  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  6. Let cool before slicing and enjoy!





Variation: Add chocolate chips or chopped walnuts for extra texture.
